Day-to-day responsibilities include performing scheduled maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, completing repairs, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. The Service Technician will conduct field service visits at customer locations, document all work performed, and communicate clearly with customers and team members about findings and recommendations. The role also involves following safety protocols, maintaining tools and company vehicles in good working order, and collaborating with the office and project teams to meet service timelines and quality standards.Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Maintenance & Repair for commercial HVAC systems, including routine and preventative maintenance.Strong Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues efficiently.Experience in Field Service work, including on-site inspections, system checks, and responsive service calls.Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, explain technical issues clearly, and represent the company positively.Hands-on Maintenance experience with HVAC equipment, tools, and related mechanical components.Knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and basic electrical principles; EPA certification for handling refrigerants preferred.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders, with strong attention to detail and safety.Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to work on-site across the Greater Houston area.High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or trade school in HVAC or mechanical systems is beneficial.Capability to lift and move equipment as needed and work in various commercial environments, including rooftops and mechanical rooms.
