Opportunity to teach students and residents serving a patient population primarily composed of an underserved community Not-for-profit (501C3) Position offers an outstanding work environment, competitive compensation plan/benefits package, paid time off, CME allowance with paid time off and employer paid malpractice insurance The clinical practice includes L&D, neonatal and general pediatric surgery, general surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, level I trauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery, and special procedures outside the OR The successful candidate must have completed Plastic Surgery residency training and be board certified or board eligible. Previous faculty experience in an academic environment is preferred. The candidate should be comfortable managing the full range of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery patients. Expertise with Maxillofacial Trauma and Microvascular surgery is required. Join four existing plastic surgeons in the division of plastic and reconstructive surgery This position will provide inpatient and outpatient general plastic and reconstructive surgery services in the elective and emergent care settings, sharing call coverage, and teaching residents. The candidate should be comfortable with a team approach for patient management. The candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in collaborative research activities and refining and extending existing plastic surgery services.
