Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities:The Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer will develop and implement instrumentation systems for process control.Work with project teams to install, configure, and commission instrumentation equipment (pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors).Ensure that instrumentation design adheres to applicable standards (e.g., ISA, IEEE, ANSI).Optimize process control systems to improve plant efficiency, product quality, and safety.Ensure that all instrumentation systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., HAZOP, SIL).Identify opportunities for improvement in instrumentation systems to enhance plant performance.Develop instrumentation documentation, including P&IDs, loop diagrams, and functional specifications.Other positions available at www.southernrs.com.Relocation provided.RequirementsThe I&E Engineer will have a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of electrical power distribution, motor control and industrial instrumentation systems experience..Ability to troubleshoot motor controls through 4.16kV.Demonstrate knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA 70B, and NFPA 70E.Working knowledge of power system analysis and protective relays.Certification in instrumentation or control systems engineering.Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
