Our culture of care guides everything we do!Accounting & Tax Manager in Construction Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain strong client relationships to gain a deep understanding of their business and objectivesDeliver creative client solutions to complex accounting, tax, and business issues within construction and other industriesApply accounting, advisory, and tax expertise to effectively support client and firm needsLead, plan, oversee, and execute client engagements to ensure outstanding service, within appropriate budgeting and job realizationsConnect clients with additional internal or external specialists as neededDelegate tasks, set clear goals, provide necessary resources, remove obstacles, and manage schedules to ensure efficient, timely completion of projectsMentor and coach team members, supporting their professional growth, development, and performanceParticipate in firm growth initiatives and client account development to generate new client revenue and expand revenue from existing clients Stay up to date on public accounting and construction industry developmentsAccounting & Tax Manager in Construction Qualifications:5–8+ years of public accounting experience with an emphasis on accounting and tax2+ years as an in-charge or lead advisor in public accounting supporting construction clientsCPA license with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related fieldDemonstrated ability to meet or exceed personal charge hour goals and promote efficiency and productivity within the teamStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to creatively improve and follow processesStrong curiosity to fully understand the construction industryTechnical proficiency in MS Office, tax and accounting software, and the ability to learn new applicationsJoin Simon Lever as a Accounting & Tax Manager in Construction to advance your career, make a meaningful impact for clients, and be part of a supportive and collaborative team.
