Seniority & Work Experience 6+ years as a backend-leaning engineer Most of career spent at Series A–C startups where the product was scaling and ownership was high Proven track record developing products from 0→1 / MVP to launch Direct client- or non-technical-stakeholder-facing experience Founder or founding engineer experience is a strong plus Hard Skills Deep experience with Node.js and TypeScript on the backend Strong backend and third-party API work, especially the Meta API — comfortable across the stack when needed Experience with asynchronous/event-driven systems If Node.js isn't their primary language: a track record of quickly switching stacks in startup environments Soft Skills & Location Clear communication Based in North America or Western Europe Pay: $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote
