This position is responsible for testing manufactured pieces based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with reasonable accommodation when necessary.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products.Inspect and test components, parts, tube details, and assemblies to validate conformance to blue prints and instructions by customer and to company operatingDetermines appropriate fittings (feeds and caps) to perform the testLifts, positions, connects, disconnects, and removes work pieces from pressure test tankPerforms testing based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standardsUtilize tank interlocks and all safety mechanismsObserve test, inspect for bubble formation, seepage, or water dropletsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on timeOther duties may be assigned as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional InformationBenefits401(k) matchingMedical, Dental & Vision insuranceEmployee assistance program (EAP)Flexible spending account (FSA)Health savings account (HSA)Life insurancePaid time offWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
