Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager who leads from the front, enforces standards, and is passionate about teaching and developing others. What This Role Is About This is a leadership position for someone who: Thrives in a structured, systems-driven kitchen Takes pride in consistency and execution Believes in teaching, coaching, and reinforcing standards daily Is comfortable holding a team accountable while building them up Key Responsibilities Kitchen Leadership Lead daily BOH operations with a strong presence on the line Set the tone for urgency, professionalism, and teamwork Actively coach and develop kitchen staff in real time Food Quality & Execution Ensure all dishes meet established standards for:Preparation Portioning Presentation Maintain consistency across all service periods Training & Development Train new hires and continuously develop existing team members Reinforce proper techniques, systems, and sanitation standards Build a culture of accountability and improvement Inventory & Cost Control Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory systems Maintain proper product rotation and storage Control food cost through waste reduction and disciplined execution Sanitation & Safety Enforce strict cleanliness and food safety standards Maintain cleaning schedules and organization across all kitchen areas Ensure safe operation of all equipment Operations & Support Step into any role as needed to ensure smooth service Maintain equipment and oversee preventative maintenance Collaborate with ownership and FOH leadership What We’re Looking For Strong culinary and operational foundation Proven leadership and team development skills Clear communicator with strong organizational ability Detail-oriented with a high level of accountability Financial awareness (food cost, waste, labor) Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-standard environment Compensation & Expectations Salary based on a 6-day work week (goal of transitioning to 5 days as operations allow) Health insurance Performance-based end-of-summer bonus 1 week paid vacation after 6 months (excluding May–September) Weekend and holiday availability required Why Sen Established, respected restaurant with strong systems Culture of continuous improvement and accountability Hands-on leadership environment Opportunity to grow with a disciplined, professional team More detail about Sen Restaurant, please visit
