Apply via Dice today!Job Title: SAP Finance (R2R) ConsultantLocation: Irving, TXEmployment Type: ContractJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SAP Finance (Record-to-Report / R2R) Consultant to support financial transformation initiatives and SAP finance operations. The consultant will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Finance solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders to streamline accounting, reporting, and financial closing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesGather and analyze business requirements related to finance and accounting processes.Configure and support SAP FI modules including:General Ledger (GL)Accounts Payable (AP)Accounts Receivable (AR)Asset Accounting (AA)Bank AccountingFinancial Closing and ReportingSupport Record-to-Report (R2R) business processes and month-end/year-end closing activities.Work on SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, enhancements, and support projects.Integrate SAP Finance with other modules such as MM, SD, PP, and CO.Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for custom developments.Perform system testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and deployment activities.Support data migration, reconciliation, and financial reporting requirements.Provide end-user training and post-production support.Assist with compliance, audit, and internal control requirements.Required Skills & QualificationsSAP Finance consulting experience with strong R2R process knowledge.Hands-on experience with SAP FI configuration and support.Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Experience with financial close, reconciliation, and reporting processes.Knowledge of integration points between SAP FI and other SAP modules.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in fast-paced enterprise environments.
