Assistant Construction SuperintendentLocation: Greensboro, NC (Travel within a 3-hour radius may be required)Job DescriptionA growing family-operated general contractor is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Construction Superintendent to support commercial and multi-family construction projects in the Greensboro, NC region. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional who is energetic, self-driven, and capable of assisting with day-to-day field operations while ensuring projects remain on schedule, compliant, and organized.The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the lead superintendent to coordinate subcontractors, maintain job site safety, oversee quality control, and assist with project turnover activities. Candidates should have prior experience in commercial and/or multi-family construction environments and possess strong communication and organizational skills.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Superintendent with daily construction site operationsMonitor and enforce job site safety, quality, and compliance standardsCoordinate and communicate project progress with project managers and stakeholdersSupport scheduling and management of subcontractors and site logisticsConduct punch list inspections and assist with unit turnover processesMaintain organized and efficient job site conditionsReview and interpret construction drawings and project documentsQualifications3+ years of experience in commercial and/or multi-family constructionStrong communication and project coordination abilitiesAbility to read and interpret construction documents and blueprintsFamiliarity with construction safety regulations and industry standardsSelf-motivated with a proactive, team-oriented attitudeReliable transportation and willingness to travel within project regionsRequirementsValid driver’s licenseAbility to pass a background checkProven construction field experience in commercial or multi-family projects
