The Chief Operations Officer (COO) will be instrumental in enhancing the operational structure to support expansion into retail locations and international markets. This role requires close daily collaboration with the CEO, as well as the rest of the C-Level team, including the CFO, CMO, and CTO. A primary responsibility for the COO will be to drive accountability by developing and managing performance metrics and goals across all departments. They will also oversee the supply chain, managing costs, forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, vendor management, logistics, and fulfillment. In addition to optimizing existing operations, the COO will play a significant role in developing networks for both retail and international operations, focusing on branding, operations, and financial oversight. This individual will work alongside departmental leaders to craft and implement the larger company strategy, while also coaching and mentoring teams to foster improved performance and a positive work environment. The COO will be seen as a key figure in embracing and driving the clients strategic vision. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performance teams and achieving impressive results. They should have over five years of success in an operations leadership role within a company generating over $10 million in annual sales and employing more than 25 people. Experience in industries such as retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, or manufacturing is essential, with an added advantage of having relationships with large retail distributors. xywuqvp They should be adept in strategic planning, KPI processes, and demonstrate a clear understanding of when to delegate tasks and when to step in to ensure objectives are met. An understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) would be beneficial.
