We are a global leader in the supply chain execution market, focused on accelerating the transformation of digital supply chain for industrial and finished goods shippers and carriers by combining best-in-class solutions for challenges tied to yard management, shipment visibility, and asset management, across rail, truck, and multi-mode transportation.We’re looking for a highly motivated and analytically strong student to join our team as a Finance and & Strategy Student Advisor in our Alpharetta, GA office, as we transform how the things we eat, wear, and use are transported worldwide. In this role, you will contribute to key financial and strategic initiatives that support our next-generation transportation and logistics solutions for the marine industry.You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Product, and Operations, to support financial planning, analyze business performance, and help inform strategic decision-making. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to both the strategic and operational sides of the business, with opportunities to grow in both financial and broader business strategy areas.ResponsibilitiesSupport financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activitiesAnalyze business performance and prepare reports with key insights and recommendationsAssist in building financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision-makingPartner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Product, Operations) on business projectsConduct market, competitor, and industry research to inform strategyHelp track KPIs and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunitiesPrepare presentations and materials for leadership reviewsLeverage AI tools to enhance analysis, automate processes, and improve reporting efficiencyCollaborate with teams to identify opportunities to incorporate AI into financial and business workflowsSupport ad hoc analysis and special projects as neededPreferred Skills & QualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, basic modeling)Ability to work with data and translate it into meaningful insightsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasksSelf-starter with a willingness to learn and take ownershipFamiliarity with financial concepts (P&L, budgeting, forecasting) is a plusExperience with tools like PowerPoint, Google Sheets, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plusProficiency with AI tools and a strong interest in applying AI to improve business processesAbility to partner with cross-functional teams to explore and implement AI-driven solutionsThe duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned from time to time or the scope of the position may change necessary to business demands.Kaleris is an equal opportunity employer.
