Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in guiding mechanical design delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will act as a technical authority, ensuring engineering excellence, compliance with standards, and effective coordination across multidisciplinary teams.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys influencing design direction, mentoring engineers, and working closely with clients and stakeholders to achieve outstanding project outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership and oversight on mechanical building services designReview and validate engineering solutions to ensure quality, compliance, and efficiencyCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive integrated design approachesEngage with clients, advising on technical strategies and project deliveryMentor and support junior and mid-level engineersContribute to project planning, resource allocation, and risk managementEnsure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practicesRequirementsDegree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplineProfessional Engineer License holder Demonstrated ability to lead, review, and guide engineering teamsStrong understanding of mechanical systems design principles and standardsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to navigate Revit MEP models The ideal candidate would have 8+ years experience and hold both a Mechanical Engineering Degree and Professional Engineer license. The ideal candidate would also have experience supporting Consultancies and/or Sub-contractors and have experience managing a team of 10+ Engineers.
