Diesel Technician

Job Description This position performs inspections, preventative maintenance, repair, to any part(s) of a diesel powered truck, tractor or trailer.Ability to troubleshoot and analyze mechanical, electrical problem or other type whether single or combined tractor-trailer unit.Perform repairs such as; Brakes, Clutches, Air Conditioning and other mechanical components.· General knowledge and experience in truck / trailer repair and operations.· Must have own tools.· Willingness to accept all types of job assignments.· Willing and able to work nights and weekends· Professional attitude and appearance.· Good past employment history.· Self motivated and ambitious.· Be capable to work independently and be held accountable.· Excellent work ethic and good attitude.· Clean MVR (insurable)· CDL (commercial drivers license) a plus!· Welding a plus!(Those moving on in the process will be the only ones contacted)Company DescriptionLocally owned semi truck and trailer repair and maintenance facility.Opened in 1982, under current management since 2007.
