Proficiency in Unity and C# is required, as students will work on game development and interactive coding projects. You will foster a positive and welcoming environment that encourages learning and curiosity in coding and STEM. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, great with kids, and knowledgeable in coding fundamentals, with the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning experience.Responsibilities IncludeLead small groups of students in game development and coding activities using Unity and C# Facilitate camps and special programs focused on Minecraft, Roblox, YouTube content creation, and Lego Robotics Create an interactive and engaging classroom environment that encourages students to explore coding conceptsAdapt teaching approaches to suit different learning styles and levelsProvide feedback to students and communicate with parents about progressAssist in setting up and maintaining classroom materials and equipmentQualificationsProficiency in Unity and C# is requiredBackground in Computer Science, Game Development, STEM Education, or related fields (Preferred)Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting (Preferred)Experience in coding or teaching, particularly with children (Preferred)Strong communication and classroom management skillsAbility to explain complex coding concepts in simple and engaging waysPatience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for helping students succeedMust be organized, reliable, and able to maintain a positive classroom environmentFlexibility to work weekday afternoons, evenings, and some weekendsAbout UsCode Ninjas® is the world’s largest and fastest-growing kids coding franchise, with hundreds of locations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
