Lead or support development of Statements of Work (SOW), Task Orders (TO), Project Management Plans (PMPs), project estimates, schedules, budgets, and baseline approvals. Support project formulation activities including basis of estimate development, technical narratives, schedule input, and priced proposal reviews. Coordinate project execution activities across engineering, procurement, construction, startup, testing, and closeout teams. Monitor project performance against approved project plans and support corrective actions when necessary. Support project risk assessments, change control requests, contingency planning, and issue resolution. Interface with customers, stakeholders, subcontractors, construction management, and internal teams to support effective communication and project execution. Review subcontractor schedules, reports, and project controls tools to support project oversight and progress tracking. Ensure safety, quality, environmental, inspection, and regulatory requirements are addressed throughout project execution. Coordinate with Engineering on design reviews, project updates, and as-built documentation. Support procurement activities including purchase requests, receipt inspections, and contractor coordination. Ensure project deliverables, reporting, documentation, and closeout activities are completed accurately and on schedule. Support PMO process improvement initiatives and provide mentorship to project management team members. Participate in project meetings, kickoff meetings, and stakeholder coordination activities as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to project teams and junior PMs. Maintain effective communication with management, customers, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company, customer, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Support adherence to PMO standards, procedures, and project management best practices. Maintain strong organizational skills, accountability, and attention to detail across assigned projects and priorities. Support a collaborative, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Job RequirementsMandatory:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, technology, operations management, or related field. Minimum 8 years of experience managing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. Minimum 2 years of experience utilizing project management software and tools. erience managing project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder communication. Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation, specifications, standards, and drawings. Strong leadership, organizational, planning, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. Must maintain a valid driver’s license. Must be a U.S. Citizen in order to obtain the required NASA badge.Ability to successfully complete all required employment verification, background screening, drug testing, and badging documentation processes. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Preferred:Experience supporting government, NASA, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects. Familiarity with PMO standards, project controls, and project lifecycle management. Experience supporting estimating, risk assessments, funding requests, and project formulation activities. Familiarity with engineering, construction, procurement, and contracting terminology and processes. Experience mentoring project managers or leading cross-functional project teams. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. Working Conditions:Work is performed in office, industrial, construction, and operational facility environments. Position may require periodic field visits, site walkthroughs, and coordination within active construction or operational areas. Occasional exposure to industrial equipment, construction activities, and varying environmental conditions. Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently. Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding when required. Ability to wear required PPE including steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hard hats, and gloves.
