Financial Accountant

OverviewWe are seeking a Financial Accountant with strong experience in hospital finance, budgeting, and patient volume analytics. This role will support financial planning, revenue analysis, and operational decision-making within a healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze operating and capital budgets, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow projectionsMonitor financial performance and trends through dashboardsAnalyze patient statistics and revenue data to support forecasting and decision-makingEnsure accuracy and compliance of financial transactions, including invoices, requisitions, and expensesSupport audit processes and regulatory reporting (Medicare, Medicaid, IRS filings, etc.)Develop and improve financial tracking tools, reports, and processesPartner with operational leaders to provide financial insights, cost analysis, and budget guidanceQualifications3–5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experienceHospital or healthcare finance experience required (budgeting + patient stats)Strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and revenue analyticsBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA preferred)Advanced Excel and data analysis skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to support and advise leadership
