This position is responsible for performing daily equipment inspections and maintenance.4/10 schedule with OT opportunities Essential QualificationsHigh school or equivalentIndustrial experience required (2 years preferred)TWIC Card (or ability to obtain a TWIC card)Works well in a small team Physical requirements: lift/carry 45lb max, climb 8' ladder and stairs, crouch and reach in crouch positionComputer skills preferredSkid Steer, Forklift, and/or manlift experience a plusMandatory Background CheckMust be able to pass drug screenBasic knowledge of hand tools40-Hour HAZWOPER (29CFR 1910.120) training preferred but not requiredPost-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluationPre-Employment qualification test if applicableJob site "Personal Protective Equipment" requirements (hearing protection, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt, gloves, steel toe boots, etc.)Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplaceFunctional RequirementsPerform daily equipment inspections and maintenance; Monitor and maintain fluid levels on machinery (pumps, engines, pneumatics, etc.) in accordance with specific work assignments; Material handling in accordance with site specific health and safety program and standard operating procedures; Safely enter and navigate storage tanks containing hazardous vapors, chemicals, or petroleum products; Use high-pressure water blasting (hydro-blasting), vacuum trucks, and chemical cleaners to remove sludge, scale, and residues; Perform basic pipefitting, welding, or bolt-up work to repair tank floors, seals, and manways; Sandblasting and abrasive blasting to prepare surfaces for industrial coatings and liners; Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.CompensationFinal agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.BenefitsDepending on your employment status, benefits include health, dental, vision, life, ADD, voluntary life / ADD, disability benefits, leaves of absence, 401k, paid time off, paid holidays, telehealth access, and employee assistance program.Physical InvolvementMay be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing / sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; wearing respirator and other PPE; typing / data entry; stepstool use; work in excessive heat; work in excessive cold; work in loud environmentTurner Industries Energy Services is an equal employment opportunity employer.
