The Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, control and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of Robinson. The Project Manager is responsible for creating and meeting deadlines; budgets and resources, in addition to communicating all deliverables of projects both to the internal team and to the customer. The Project Manager position is highly visible within the organization and extremely interactive with our customer base.What You Will DoCreate and define project plans, scope, timelines, allocate resources and monitor project progressReview sales orders and drawings to ensure smooth project executionWork within established budget, communicate exceptions promptlyTrack and communicate deliverablesSchedule and lead initial and follow-up meetings; set expectations for the teamMonitor, follow up and report on project progressIdentify and resolve issues, communicating outcomesCoordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projectsEnsure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budgetMeasure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques (ERP System, Microsoft Office Suite, custom in-house programs)Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps (Gannt Charts) to document project progressReport and escalate issues to management as necessaryManage and maintain relationships with customers through the life of the equipmentWork with sub vendors on aux equipment issuesRemain current with industry technology, processes and practices.Other duties as assigned.What You Will BringStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent decision making and leadership capabilitiesContract negotiation experienceConflict resolution experienceExcellent client facing and internal communication skillsExperience with high value projectsAbility to work in a high volume and fast paced environment with tight deadlinesSolid technical backgroundExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid attention to detail skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project Management softwareStrong working knowledge of Gannt ChartsAbility to work in a highly collaborative style across multiple departmentsMinimum Requirements3+ years of Project Management experience in manufacturing or operations preferredBachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent Project Management experienceDemonstrated track record of operational excellenceAbility to work flexible hours as required to support successful project execution from order to post shipment.Ability to travel as needed up to 10%BenefitsRobinson offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package that includes opportunities for quarterly productions bonuses, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, hospital indemnity, identity theft protection, pet insurance, 401k w/ strong company match, annua; profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off, including paid vacation and ten paid holidays.Robinson Fans, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
