This progressive care unit provides nursing care for patients who are too ill for the general medical/surgical units, but do not need an intensive level of care in the the ICU. Population is general medicine, surgical, chronic vents (4 beds), bypass patients. We are a Stroke Certified unit.Education* Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field requiredCertification/LicensureVirginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standingBasic Life Support (BLS)ACLSNIH stroke scaleExperience* Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital experience.Hospital OverviewSentara Princess Anne Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, VA, is a Magnet Status, general medical and surgical facility with 160 beds.
