Job SummaryResponsible to provide for the delivery and return of blood products and materials to internal and external customers.QualificationsDemonstrate a positive and polite demeanor and shows respect, in words and actions, towards all individuals and groups.Handing-off all processed packages to carriers at time of scheduled pick-ups.Record information, such as items received and delivered and recipients' responses to messages.Cleans and maintains storeroom and receiving areas.Surgical specimens will be signed for at each office and a pick up log will be kept for the surgical specimens.Provides complete and accurate documentation for STAT pick ups, vehicle maintenance log and dispatch log.Interact with vendors in a polite and professional manner.Process customer packages using internal shipping system.Performs other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.2-3 years driving experience preferred and an excellent driving record.HS Diploma or Equivalent Required.Additional Job Details (if applicable)Onsite81 Highland AvenueScheduled Weekly Hours: 40Employee Type: RegularWork Shift: Rotating (United States of America)EEO Statement:North Shore Medical Center, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
