This role ensures consistent workflow, quality control, and adherence to operational standards during night hours.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, guide, and support night‐shift cabling techniciansAssign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure project deadlines are metOversee installation, routing, labeling, and testing of network and fiber cablingMaintain data center cleanliness, organization, and rack readinessConduct quality checks on all cabling and documentation completed overnightAssist with troubleshooting connectivity issues and escalating when neededProvide shift reports, handoff summaries, and status updates to daytime managementUphold safety and compliance standards throughout the data centerServe as the point of contact for night-shift needs, incidents, and workflow decisionsTravel as needed to support projects and work primarily from Abilene, TXRequired QualificationsBilingual in English and SpanishExperience leading teams or acting as a shift lead in a data center or similar environmentStrong hands-on background in copper and fiber cablingAbility to read cable maps, work orders, and basic network diagramsComfortable working overnight shifts consistentlyExcellent communication, organization, and problem‐solving skillsAbility to lift equipment and work in data center physical environmentsPowered by JazzHR
