This role is responsible for onboarding, employee relations, policy interpretation, HR administration, and compliance.The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting employee programs and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills, judgment, and the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organization while balancing employee experience with business objectives.EducationBachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferredEquivalent combination of formal college education and professional HR experience will be consideredHigh school diploma or GED required.Skills and Experience4+ years of successful professional HR experience, including but not limited to onboarding, employee relations, attendance administration, policy management and complianceExcellent. demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage sensitive and confidential matters professionallyAbility to manage a high volume of priorities simultaneously with accuracy and urgencySelf-starter with the ability to prioritize and work independently while collaborating effectively and efficientlyExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and business writingDesired CharacteristicsApproachable and able to build relationships across all levels of the organizationCustomer-focused with a strong sense of responsiveness and urgencyCollaborative team player with a strong drive and commitment to fostering a positive work environmentDemonstrates exceptional judgment and discretion in navigating complex, sensitive, and high-risk employee mattersEssential DutiesPartner closely with HR Business Partners and HR Managers to deliver comprehensive HR support with a strong focus on non-wired production employees operating across three shiftsServe as a resource for managers and employees on HR-related inquiriesEnsure consistent application of company policies and practicesProvide timely, accurate, and legally compliant guidance on employee relations mattersConduct fair, thorough, and timely investigationsCoach managers and employees on policy interpretation, performance management, and corrective actionCollaborate with Manufacturing leaders to:Facilitate bi-weekly attendance meetingsConduct weekly attendance case reviewsReview and standardize corrective actions to ensure consistency and clarity of expectationsPartner with Safety Managers to review incidents and determine appropriate actionsProvide leadership as Chair of the Joe Kyle Scholarship Committee, overseeing program governance, selection integrity, and continuous improvement of the scholarship processManage the Tuition Reimbursement Program end-to-end, driving compliance, operational efficiency, and employee engagement with development opportunitiesPerform additional duties as needed to support HR operations and organizational goalsThis role will be based in West Point, GA with a hybrid work environment (post training).#LI-AS13 - Associate / Professional / Individual Contributor / Team LeadWe are a VEVRAA Federal Contractor.
