Responsibilities
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales accurately and swiftly.
Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries.
Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, enhancing their shopping experience.
Assist in merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining an attractive store environment.
Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and participating in regular stock replenishment activities.
Promote store promotions and upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences.
Maintain professional phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or coordinating with team members.
Assist with supervising responsibilities as needed, including guiding new team members or overseeing daily store operations during shifts.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and store policies at all times.
Experience
Previous experience in resturant sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our diverse customer base.
Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team.
