Delivery ManagerWe're seeking a Delivery Manager to lead all aspects of our delivery departmentdriving efficiency, safety, and exceptional customer service. This role oversees drivers, fleet performance, and DOT compliance while managing scheduling, payroll, and training. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, solves problems quickly, and builds a strong, safety-focused team culture.Job Responsibilities:General manager administration including, but not limited to, workers compensation, new hire interviewing, conducting training for efficiencies and overall safety culture, etc.Administer proper discipline when necessary.Maintain drivers' attendance records, sick days, vacation, etc.Maintain and update payroll utilizing timekeeping software.Effectively manage all aspects of the delivery department.Monitor delivery fleet using Mobil Cast.Responsible for DOT compliance including DOT safety requirements and DOT drug screening.Respond to all inquiries and complaints concerning all aspects of the delivery process.Ensures that team maintains a positive customer experience: positively responding to customer inquiries, complaints and resolving delivery concerns in accordance with customer requirementsResponsibly handle beverage alcohol product.Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experienceMinimum of 5 year of experience in related area and some experience in a supervisory roleProficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation softwareMust be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skillsAbility to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlinesAnalytic and Reporting skillsUtilize sound judgement and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environmentPreferred Qualifications:1-3 years of management/supervisory experienceAble to interpret and apply union contractsPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephoneOccasionally carry & lift up to 65 poundsOccasionally reach overhead, squat and bendOccasionally walk and stand for extended periods of timeCompetencies:May help coordinate the work of junior members of the team.Resolves issues which are often varied and non-routine. Undertakes analysis and investigation to solve issues.Salary and Benefit Statement:Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience.CompensationSalary: $80,000 - $112,000This position is eligible to participate in a bonus program.
