Senior Program ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee complex technology programs for our client in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, driving initiatives from initiation to implementation using formal project management methodologies. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and a deep understanding of technology management to ensure successful project execution, resource allocation, and alignment with business objectives. The Senior Program Manager will play a critical role in ensuring program goals are met on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Responsibilities: Direct and oversee programs, project managers, consultants, and contractors to achieve program objectives. Review, approve, and ensure the development and maintenance of key project documents, including: Project Charter Project Management Plan Requirements and design documents Architecture inputs Test plans and results Implementation plans Post-implementation and lessons learned reports Project schedules and budgets Resource management plans Provide weekly program status reports and lead status meetings as required. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication. Apply strong analytical skills to address project challenges and identify strategic improvements. Ensure compliance with project management best practices and methodologies. Utilize project management tools such as MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Lead projects leveraging Agile development methodologies to drive successful delivery. Required Qualifications: A minimum of 10 years of hands-on program and project management experience, overseeing projects from initiation to implementation. At least 12 years of experience in technology management, analysis, and administration. Strong ability to interact with stakeholders and advocate for departmental interests. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences. Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Solid understanding and experience with Agile development methodologies.
