You'll work closely with radiologists, providers, and support staff in a welcoming environment where your skills and attention to detail matter daily.Key Responsibilities:Perform CT Procedures: Operate CT scanners to acquire diagnostic images per physician orders.Patient Comfort & Communication: Explain procedures clearly and compassionately while ensuring patient safety and well-being.Clinical Collaboration: Coordinate with physicians and imaging teams for accurate and timely results.Equipment Oversight: Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth workflow.Radiation Safety: Adhere to all ALARA principles and safety protocols.Record Keeping: Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain updated patient records.QualificationsEducation: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.Certification: ARRT (R) required; ARRT (CT) preferred or required within 6 months of hire.Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for Maine state licensure.Experience: 1+ year in CT preferred, but strong new grads are welcome to apply.Other: BLS certification required.Why Machiasport, Maine?
