From idea to execution — you collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to drive the creation of on-brand, engaging experiences via print materials, packaging and product.Responsibilities:This role will work closely with Strategists, Account Executives, Art Directors, Copywriters, Production Artists, Industrial Designers and Motion Artists on the conceptualization and execution of Point-of-Purchase materials, packaging, branding and product design. As an integral part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, you will manage and design many aspects of the visual creative product.Work and collaborate with the creative team to develop visual concepts, design systems and products that entice, educate, engage, activate and connect with consumersSupport and own the creative process from original concept to final implementationInterpret briefs in order to create designs that are strategically driven and compelling - not just "pretty"Manage and balance multiple jobs and projects daily, meets timelines and expectations, while measuring and improving efficiencyMaintain knowledge and skills of creative applications, staying on top of new and evolving technologyThink conceptually and strategically to discover the best way to problem-solve for design and technical challengesBe a constant learner, with a passion for actively keeping ahead of the curve and exploring new tools, trends/standard methodologies and styles, as well as advertising and design stylesBe a team player to others by collaborating, working hard and always forging aheadSkills And Experience1-3 years working as an Associate Art Director (in print, packaging, product)Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPointResourceful and solution-oriented; a proactive self-starter and problem-solverUnderstanding of visual communication and creating a visual hierarchySkillful in graphic design, including the use of typography, color and design systemsExperience aligning work to brand identity/guidelines; understanding of brand collabs/partnershipsAbility to quickly ideate and create a branded look & feel for clientsIllustration skills are a huge plus, preferably with adaptability to a range of different stylesHas critical attention to detail while not missing the big pictureUnderstanding of best-practices for print and packagingComfortable operating in print workflows, including collaboration with Digital Creatives and Industrial Designers, and flawless turnovers to the Studio team for final deliverables, making file structures and organization a priorityCapable of communicating creative ideas and intentions with clarityAbility to collaborate with other Art Directors and Copywriters to implement and deliver fun and engaging print materials that speak to kids and familiesCan take direction and constructive criticism from seniors and peers
