Rental Coordinator

Position SummaryThe Rental Coordinator is responsible for coordinating equipment rentals including compact construction equipment, building construction product, material handling, and allied equipment working directly with customers, prospects, and sales representatives. Knowledge of the equipment industry is essential for this position. The Rental Coordinator must be able to perform independently with limited supervision. The ability to manage multiple priorities is essential for this position. The Rental Coordinator will demonstrate initiative, resilience, attention to detail, sense of urgency, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner.Essential Responsibilities & ExpectationsReceives incoming calls and records detailed customer informationOrganizes workspace for easy access to product information and rental ratesCompletes rental reservations and rental contractsDocuments all missed rental opportunitiesArranges store to promote sales of merchandiseCloses rental contracts and created invoices dailyWorks with equipment sales representatives to ensure customer satisfactionFollows up on overdue rentals and past due invoicesUnderstands common equipment failure causes and resolves problemsNegotiate mutually agreeable settlements on customer complaintsOther duties as assigned by supervisorUphold the Core Values of Safe and Secure, Stronger Together, People of Integrity, and Driven to Serve.QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or the equivalentExperienceEntry Level with 0-2 years' experience and completed 20 hours of LMS classes within the first two years of employment in order to proceed to the next levelCandidates must possess the ability to quickly acquire the following required Skills and Competencies:Skills and CompetenciesRelationship building skillsProblem resolutionHigh mechanical aptitudeExcellent written communicationProfessional email etiquetteAdvanced computing skillsProficiency in ExcelJob TrainingTTCo and supplier computer programsOSHA and MSHA required trainingCompliance trainingSafety SummaryWorking ConditionsWork is normally performed in company office, worksite, or shop environment.
