THE OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking Driver Assistants to ride along with our partner's drivers and assist in loading/unloading materials to ensure smooth, safe on-time delivery. This position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the truck routes, the customers, material handling, and the delivery process. Our CDL Yard Switchers safely maneuver trailers between the warehouse yard and off-site yard, back trailers in to assigned bay doors, and remove empty trailers once unloaded. Requirements: Valid Class A CDL Valid medical card 1+ year switcher/jockey experience High-energy individual with a strong work ethic, the work is fast paced and very physical Lift and carry a minimum of up to 25-75lbs, materials handled vary Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate All candidates should be over the age of 18 and will have to undergo a pre-employment drug test, background check, and MVR review.
