Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)

Job DescriptionAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our acute care hospital team. The Respiratory Therapist will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and life-support respiratory care to patients across a variety of inpatient units, including ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and specialty areas as assigned.Multiple shifts available. Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister respiratory therapy treatments including aerosol, oxygen, and ventilator supportPerform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plansManage and monitor mechanical ventilation and non-invasive ventilationRespond to emergencies and participate in rapid response and code teamsPerform arterial blood gases and interpret resultsEducate patients and families on respiratory care and equipmentCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teamsEnsure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards QualificationsActive state Respiratory Care Practitioner licenseCRT or RRT credential BLS, ACLS, PALS (currently have or willing to obtain)Previous acute care or hospital experience preferred
