Job Title: Epic Report WriterLocation: Experience: 10 yearsRole OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Epic Report Writer to design, develop, and maintain reports within the Epic Systems ecosystem. This role is critical in enabling data-driven decisions by delivering accurate, timely, and meaningful insights to clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Epic reporting tools, healthcare data structures, and analytics.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain reports using Epic reporting tools such as:Reporting Workbench (RWB)ClarityCaboodleRadar DashboardsDevelop complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from Epic databasesCollaborate with clinical, operational, and business teams to gather reporting requirementsEnsure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulationsOptimize report performance and troubleshoot data issuesCreate dashboards and visualizations for actionable insightsMaintain documentation for reports, data definitions, and processesSupport data validation, testing, and user acceptance processesParticipate in upgrades, enhancements, and system optimization initiativesRequired Skills & Qualifications3+ years of experience working with Epic reporting toolsStrong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databasesSolid understanding of Epic data models (Clarity/Caboodle)Experience with Reporting Workbench and dashboard developmentKnowledge of healthcare workflows (clinical, revenue cycle, or operations)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred QualificationsEpic certification(s) (Clarity, Caboodle, or Reporting Workbench)Experience with BI tools such as:TableauMicrosoft Power BIFamiliarity with data warehousing conceptsKnowledge of healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA)Experience in performance tuning and large dataset handling
