Security Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Security Supervisor to lead our security team in maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment. This role is vital in overseeing physical security operations, implementing surveillance protocols, and ensuring the safety of all personnel and assets. As a Security Supervisor, you will coordinate access control, manage incident responses, and uphold security regulations with precision and professionalism. Your leadership will foster a proactive security culture that prioritizes safety, customer service, and compliance at all times. Responsibilities Supervise daily security operations, including patrolling premises and monitoring CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Manage access control systems to regulate entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to security protocols. Conduct thorough background checks on new hires or visitors as part of the onboarding or screening process. Lead incident report writing with clear documentation of security events, accidents, or violations for review and action. Coordinate emergency response procedures such as first aid administration, CPR, AED operation, fire safety protocols, and heavy lifting during emergencies. Perform conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management to resolve disputes calmly and effectively while maintaining safety. Oversee manual handling tasks and physical security measures including heavy lifting when necessary to support operational needs. Qualifications Proven experience in physical security or law enforcement roles with knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV systems. Strong understanding of emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols. Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings. Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail and clarity. Familiarity with access control systems and compliance with security regulations is essential. Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict de-escalation abilities to handle diverse situations professionally.
