Nurse Manager - ICU/Medical/Surgical/TelemetryThis is a leadership position responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and managing nursing staff effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations of the ICU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry units.The Nurse Manager - ICU/Medical/Surgical/Telemetry is responsible for overseeing daily operations, staffing, quality assurance, and patient throughput management across multiple inpatient units, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise nursing staff in ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units.Ensure patient throughput efficiency, maintaining optimal staffing levels and care standards.Develop and implement nursing policies & procedures to align with hospital best practices.Lead quality and performance improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations.Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams, optimizing safety and workflow processes.Monitor and manage budget, supplies, and resource utilization for assigned units.Facilitate professional development and continuing education for nursing staff.Collaborate with senior leadership and nursing directors to achieve strategic healthcare goals.QualificationsMust-Haves:Active RN License in North Carolina.Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN required, BSN preferred).BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.Nice-To-Haves:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or actively pursuing one.Previous management experience in ICU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry units.Recent bedside patient care experience to support hands-on leadership.Why is This a Great OpportunityLead a dynamic team in a fast-paced hospital environment, impacting patient care outcomes and staff development.Competitive salary & benefits, including 401(k) matching, insurance, and an annual performance bonus.Opportunities for professional growth, with access to education and training partnerships.Work in a collaborative and innovative hospital setting, dedicated to high-quality healthcare.
