The Hyatt Place Sarasota / Lakewood Ranch is seeking an enthusiastic breakfast attendant to support guest breakfast operations at the hotel's onsite bistro - The Placery. If you are passionate about food and beverage, and dedicated to providing excellent guest service and hospitality, we want to hear from you! JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for a quality breakfast bar, including set-up, serving, maintenance, teardown, wash dishes and clean up. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintain quality standards of the breakfast bar throughout the breakfast hours Ensure food quality and quantity are correct Maintain a neat and orderly kitchen: wash, dry, and put away all dishes, sweep and mop floors, vacuum rugs, clean countertops, empty trash, clean cupboards, drawers, and clean refrigerator and freezer Rotate food Maintain proper levels of inventory Daily teardown of breakfast bar Promote and ensure guest satisfaction Greet each guest with a smile and greeting Must follow all QA and Health department standards OTHER DUTIES:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKThis position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel including nights and weekends.
