Processing Operator

*Shift:* Mon - Fri, 3:00pm to 11:15pm. *Overview: * Safely and efficiently operate milling and blending equipment to process botanicals to create large batches for production use. Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, quality, accuracy and GMP standards in high- speed manufacturing environment. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities*: ·Employees shall support company culture, be collaborative, foster teamwork and be part of solutions. · Operate Blending and Milling Equipment in safe manner to meet daily production and quality needs/expectations. · Ensure both confidentiality and adherence to proprietary recipes. As well as accuracy in batch building. · Support and respond to production concerns and take appropriate corrective action. Make any minor and necessary adjustments to keep production flow moving. · Operate forklift to ensure proper movement and storage of botanicals both raw, finished and in process. · Work closely with Scheduling Dept, Quality Dept, and Blend Manager regarding standards, recipes and product specifications. · Complete required paperwork and quality checks. · Maintain clean and organized work area and equipment to support safe environment. · Be flexible and able to work in area(s) assigned in order to meet production demands. · Continually strive for safety, quality, and productivity by reporting any concerns and following rules/guidelines. · Perform package change overs that may require use of tools. · Additional duties and project work as needed. · Follow all Food Safety guidelines, but not limited to: o GMP’s / PPE / Allergen Program / Quality / Sanitation / Safety / SQF Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Employee discount * Flexible spending account * Gym membership * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Parental leave * Referral program * Retirement plan * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
