HR Manager - Manufacturing
The Opportunity: HR ManagerWe’re seeking an experienced, self‑directed HR Manager to own and lead the HR function across our Oregon and Washington locations. This is a highly impactful role supporting our workforce, shaping employee experience, and helping integrate newly acquired companies.You’ll work closely with ownership but will be trusted to run HR independently. For the right person, this role offers significant growth potential as we continue expanding.What You’ll Do• Manage payroll administration in ADP, including timecard review and approval• Lead onboarding for new hires and newly acquired companies• Oversee recruiting and interviewing for a variety of roles• Maintain and update the Employee Handbook• Support employee relations, including benefits, insurance, and day‑to‑day HR needs• Develop creative, practical employee experience initiatives• Serve as a trusted resource to leadership and employees across multiple sitesWhat We’re Looking ForExperience• 5–7 years in HR, payroll, or administrative/back‑office roles• Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or blue‑collar environments is a plusSoft Skills• Strong communication — clear, direct, and approachable• Highly organized with strong follow‑through• Positive, can‑do attitude• Creative problem solver who can bring fresh ideas while respecting traditionCompensation & Benefits• Base Salary: $90,000–$110,000• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k) with match• Mileage/Gas reimbursement for travel between sitesWhy You’ll Love Working Here• Your work directly supports national safety, aerospace innovation, and critical infrastructure• Tremendous growth opportunity as the company expands• Ability to build the HR function and eventually lead a team• Stable, long‑term career path in a growing organization• Flexibility once fully onboardedWork Location• Primarily onsite in Hubbard, OR during onboarding• Ongoing travel to Washougal, WA• Flexibility available once established
