You'll ensure vehicles are properly drained, secured, and prepared for dismantling while upholding our safety and environmental standards.What You'll Do as a Rack OperatorPromote a "Safety First" and "Environmental Stewardship" cultureOperate racks, hand tools, and fixed equipment (air compressors, hydraulic shears, CFC recovery units, etc.)Safely secure vehicles on racks and remove fluids, catalytic converters, and designated partsInspect and maintain tools and equipment; report needed repairs to supervisorsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentSupport vehicle preparation and ensure accurate inventory trackingWork collaboratively with teammates to meet daily goalsFollow company policies, safety procedures, and dress code (including PPE)Commit to standard production hours (Monday-Friday) with occasional overtime, weekends, or holidaysWhat You Bring as a Rack OperatorCommitment to safety and teamworkGeneral automotive mechanical knowledgeExperience using hand and power toolsAbility to work in a fast-paced, outdoor industrial environmentStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsBasic computer and mobile device skillsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularlyReliable transportationPreferred:Experience with heavy equipment (loaders, forklifts, hydraulics, etc.)Basic auto parts knowledgeBilingual (English/Spanish)About Pull-A-Part and U-Pull-&-PayPull-A-Part, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is an award-winning leader in the do-it-yourself used auto parts industry.
