It's the kind of place where you'll actually feel the work matters.Excellent benefits plan — medical, dental, vision plans, 401(k) retirement plan with up to 5% company match, Career and Leadership Development Programs, and the list goes onThe companyBringing together massive carrier capacity, cutting-edge technology, and industry-leading logistics expertise - they are creating more efficient ways for shippers and carriers to move freight across North America, and they're looking for sharp, energetic people to help them do it.The roleWe’re looking for a sharp, curious Logistics Operations Analyst to help us uncover and prevent avoidable transportation costs across our intermodal network.You’ll dig into data from multiple systems, investigate equipment dwell, accessorial charges, and other cost drivers, and ask the important question: “Why is this happening?” You’ll turn those findings into actionable insights, flag issues to the right teams, and help develop processes that improve efficiency and reduce costs.What your day-to-day will look like:Analyze transportation and equipment data to identify anomalies, trends, and cost-saving opportunitiesInvestigate issues such as equipment dwell, free-time exposure, accessorial charges, and billing discrepanciesReconcile data across our TMS, rail systems, billing platforms, and other sourcesPartner with Operations, Procurement, Customer teams, and carriers to identify solutionsDevelop reporting, SOPs, and processes that improve visibility and reduce avoidable costsTrack and communicate the impact of your recommendations and cost-avoidance initiativesWhat you’ll need to excel2+ years of experience in analytics, transportation, logistics, supply chain, finance, or operationsStrong Excel and data analysis skillsNaturally curious with a knack for spotting things that don’t add upAble to move beyond reporting to understand why the numbers look the way they doStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsIntermodal or rail experience is a plus, but not required.
