This role offers hands‑on experience working alongside an experienced software developer to build and support real‑world applications designed to improve and streamline retail operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in building and maintaining full‑stack application features using Node.js Design, build, and consume GraphQL APIs to power dynamic front‑end experiences Write, optimize, and troubleshoot queries in a PostgreSQL database environment Collaborate with developers and stakeholders on software design and architecture decisions Participate in code reviews, daily standups, and sprint planning discussions Support debugging, testing, documentation, and deployment processes Help identify opportunities to improve internal systems, workflows, and automation Follow development best practices, coding standards, and version control procedures Develop intuitive dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization features to support business decision‑making Qualifications Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) Working knowledge of software architecture and technology stack selection Experience through coursework, projects, or internships using React and Node.js Familiarity with GraphQL, including querying APIs and/or schema development Basic understanding of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills Self‑motivated with a strong willingness to learn and adapt Preferred Qualifications Understanding of REST vs. GraphQL architecture and trade‑offs Exposure to testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, or similar tools Interest in or knowledge of Trading Card Games (TCG) and TCG marketplaces Prior experience building dashboards, reporting tools, or internal business software Physical Requirements Ability to work at a computer for extended periods Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical team members Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines What You’ll Gain Direct mentorship from experienced software developers Hands‑on experience working on production‑level software Ownership of meaningful features with real business impact Exposure to full‑stack development, database management, and system design Flexible scheduling with potential hybrid work options Competitive internship compensation and professional development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
