Billing Administrator Supervisor
Job Summary
The Billing Administrator Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Billing Administration team, participation in the hiring of staff, handling disciplinary actions and ensuring all customer and departmental communications are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities include- working closely with the team and providing coaching to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including reviewing and approving timecards on a weekly basis.
Tasks
Organizes, directs, and monitors daily activities of the Billing Administration team members.
Monitors and analyzes productivity of the Billing Administration team members.
Compiles status and KPI’s for management.
Maximize staff productivity through effective workforce management.
Examine workload volumes and prioritize work efforts to meet team goals.
Ensure that all KPI’s for the teams are met.
Knowledgeable of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the cellular industry.
Trains, motivates, and rewards Billing Administration team members.
Coaches Billing Administration team members on performance goals as needed.
Conduct meetings and training with subordinates as needed.
Manage payroll and time-off requests for Billing Administration team members.
Assisting escalated customers courteously, accurately, and efficiently.
Fields questions from Billing Administration team; recommends corrective action to address customer complaints.
Act in a professional manner, display active listening and superior customer service skills for both external and internal customers.
Hires new staff and handles disciplinary actions that may result in staff terminations.
Miscellaneous vendor contacts as needed.
Analyze data from multiple sources to identify discrepancies, spot fraud and take appropriate action.
Ensure process and procedure documentation is complete and up to date.
Regard information as private, secure, and confidential.
Adhere to attendance and punctuality standards as set forth in the employee handbook.
Finding and addressing processes within the team that need improvement.
Serves as the primary source of support for the Billing Administration team members.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
1 year experience in a Billing Administrator role or equivalent.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Self-motivated, hard-working team player with proven outstanding organizational skills and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once.
Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous customer service.
Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Demonstrated passion for excellence in treating and caring for customers.
Strong knowledge of cellular concepts, products, services, and policies within the cellular industry.
Able to effectively communicate and conduct yourself professionally with co-workers and be flexible with different personalities.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime when needed.
Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality.
Effectively utilize MS Office, MS Excel and the Internet.
