Role DescriptionLooking for Part-time and full-time Advanced EMT's and Paramedics, you will be responsible for providing advanced life support and pre-hospital emergency medical services. Key duties include assessing patient conditions, administering medication, utilizing medical equipment, and performing life-saving interventions. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, managing emergency response equipment, and collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals and first responders to ensure effective patient care.QualificationsProficient in advanced life support techniques, including airway management, IV therapy, and cardiac monitoringMust be at least 21 years of age due to Auto insurance requirements.Strong decision-making abilities and critical-thinking skills to assess patient needs and respond effectively in high-pressure situationsKnowledge of emergency response protocols, safety standards, and medical proceduresSkilled in operating and maintaining medical equipment and emergency vehiclesAbility to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staffHolds a current Advanced EMT and/or paramedic certification and licensure in PennsylvaniaCPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications requiredPrevious experience in emergency medical services is preferredPhysical fitness to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting and patient transportAble to obtain Medical Command with St. Clair Health
