Freight Broker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Freight Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation sales and management, with a focus on inside sales and logistics. Experience with pricing, data entry, contracts,and TMS software is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to secure long term business.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with carriers to meet client needs
- Coordinate freight shipments from origin to destination
- Utilize TMS for tracking shipments and managing data
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and carriers
Experience:
- Prior experience in transportation sales or management
- Proficiency in logistics operations and freight pricing
- Strong understanding of contract negotiation and data entry
- Familiarity with TMS.
