Be a part of powering a cleaner future with T1 Energy.The Rework Operator is responsible for driving and executing the day-to-day rework of modules while ensuring that quality and safety standards are met. The Rework Operator will use specialized equipment to solder components together, making precise welds to connect wire to wire and wire to soldering pad. Rework Operators are responsible for ensuring that the soldering process is carried out correctly and that the finished product meets all Trina Solar quality standards. They may also be responsible for training other workers in the rework process, setting up and maintaining soldering equipment, and keeping records of all repair activities. 12-hour shift 4-3 / 3-4.Off 4: Sunday - Wednesday | On 3: Thursday -SaturdayOff 3: Sunday - Tuesday | On 4: Wednesday - SaturdayRework Operator Responsibilities:Proven track record with a "can do" attitude and reliabilityPerform 5S in their respective areasCommunicate production information to oncoming shiftPerform all duties in a safe, reliable and efficient mannerMaintain soldering and workstation equipmentPerform repairs of cell strings and modulesUse test equipment to verify temperatures of workstation and soldering ironVerifies quality of soldering using imaging and electrical testingAssemble circuits requiring fine hand assemblyVerify cell grade, manufacturer, color series by correctly reading labelsOther duties or tasks as assigned by leadershipSkills and Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to read and understand technical documents, manuals and instructionsAbility to work in a high-volume environment to meet production targets and deadlinesAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team membersAbility to work independently and as part of a teamOne year or more of soldering experience preferredT1 Energy provides equal employment opportunities(EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race,color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
