This role goes beyond standard electrical work.
You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems supporting roadway and infrastructure operations, including high-voltage distribution, control systems, and field equipment in active environments.

What You Will Do
You will maintain and repair electrical systems in field environments, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
Key responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues across systems and components
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical distribution systems
Work with systems up to and including 480V three-phase power
Inspect systems, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions
Use electrical testing equipment to isolate and repair malfunctions
Plan layout and wiring for new or modified installations
Operate bucket trucks and work at heights when required
Support maintenance of field-based electrical and control systems
What You Bring
Active Journeyman Electrician license
At least 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems in the field
Experience working with 480V 3-phase systems
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and plans
Ability to safely use tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic instruments
Experience in roadway, traffic, or infrastructure systems
Experience working outdoors or in industrial environments
Valid driver's license
Ability or willingness to obtain a CDL
