This role is crucial for accelerating the company's growth initiatives by focusing on strategic expansion into new areas.This is an office based role and requires reporting to our HQ in Baltimore daily.A Day in the Life:Lead the development and execution of strategies for penetrating and succeeding in new markets.Drive initiatives specifically focused on vertical markets expansion, identifying key segments for targeted growthCultivate and maintain strategic industry relations to position Alertus for future opportunitiesAct as the primary liaison and relationship manager for specifiers and consultants communityCollaborate with the leadership team to augment and accelerate the company's overall business development and growth initiatives Required Skills & Abilities:Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive strategies for penetrating new markets and expanding vertical market presence.Exceptional skills in establishing and maintaining high-level relationships with industry leaders and the consultant community.Demonstrated strategic thinking and business acumen with a history of driving measurable growth results.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to travel up to 25% Education & Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or strategic alliance leadership rolesPrior experience in the mass notification, integrated systems, or related technology-driven B2B industry preferred Alertus Career Advantages:Unlimited Paid Time OffPaid Holidays401(k) Retirement PlanMedical, Dental, and Vision PlansShort-term Disability, Accident, Hospital, and Cancer InsuranceLive Near Your Work HomeBuying IncentiveEmployee Referral BonusesFlex Scheduling$110,000 - $150,000 a year*Additional compensation consists of sales incentives including commissions and bonusesThe referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of Alertus' salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
