Mill Engineering Manager

OverviewOur partner is a U.S.-based industrial manufacturing organization seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team supporting large-scale capital projects and ongoing plant operations. This role combines strategic leadership, project execution, and technical oversight to ensure successful delivery of complex engineering initiatives in a manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of engineers and technical specialists supporting capital projects and plant operations.Oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of large capital projects from concept through commissioning.Provide technical direction to ensure projects meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and corporate teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.Support plant maintenance activities by providing engineering expertise and resources.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and project execution.Develop team capabilities through mentorship, performance management, and career development.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.RequirementsBS in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline (advanced degree preferred).10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.Proven experience managing capital projects in industrial or manufacturing environments.Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
