Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,840 per week

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Frankfort, Kentucky. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work three 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement • 10-bed ICU unit with 2:1 or 3:1 patient ratios • Must have 2 years of hospital experience required • Must have 2 years of ICU experience required • Kentucky or Compact nursing license required at submission • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and current NIH (must be certified annually) • Work with equipment including Philips Telemetry, Baxter pumps, iMobile, ventilators, and glucometers • Documentation system: Meditech Expanse • May float to PCU, 3rd floor, or ED as needed • Perform telemetry monitoring, assist with paracentesis (physician led), BiPap, and therapeutic phlebotomy • Preferred experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vac, drains, post-dialysis assessment, central lines, blood transfusion, and ventilators • Requested skills include CPap and BiPap management, port access, and therapeutic phlebotomy • Navy or gray scrubs required • Unit staffed with Clinical Nurse Coordinators, RNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs Facility: This 173-bed acute care facility has received numerous awards and accolades for its quality of care, including Magnet designation for nursing excellence.
