The Front Desk plays a crucial central role in creating that experience each day.
The UT Golf Club is seeking a dependable and professional individual to serve as our Front Desk Receptionist. This highly visible role is the first point of contact for members, guests, and vendors and requires strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced private club environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesGreet members, guests, vendors, and prospective members with a professional and welcoming demeanor
Answer and direct incoming phone calls accurately and efficiently
Provide general club information and direct inquiries to the appropriate department
Monitor the front entrance and lobby area to ensure cleanliness and presentation
Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries
Maintain an updated internal contact list and assist with front desk communications
Support department leaders with printing, laminating, and basic signage needs such as menus or event materials
Track and restock office supplies and assist with copier or printer needs
Assist with routine administrative tasks, document preparation, and internal coordination
Prepare and maintain new member welcome packets
Process member photos and issue member cards, parking stickers, and key fobs
Send member birthday communications in a timely manner
Assist with tracking RSVPs for club events and provide updates to appropriate staff
Support event check in and guest assistance during member functions
Maintain gift certificates and associated tracking logs
Assist with casita check in and check out when applicable
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of front desk, receptionist, hospitality, or administrative experience required. Experience in a private club, hotel, or member focused environment strongly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, and Word, along with general office equipment
High level of reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
Professional appearance and a member first service mindset
Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods while managing front desk responsibilities
Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus but not required
