This is done to ensure compliance with established quality standards. In this position, the specialist will manage the finished product release criteria, which includes aspects such as net contents, sensory programs, and Critical Control Points (CCP). Additionally, the Quality Specialist will conduct internal audits, record statistical data, and analyze production data to verify compliance or identify any deviations from existing standards. The specialist works closely with the Quality Team to identify, solve, and prevent problems that may affect quality and food safety.Work Schedule:This position will require working on a 2/2/3,12-hour night shift schedule. The night shift occurs from 6:00pm – 6:30am.Primary Responsibilities:Employee shall follow and carry out company Quality Policy on all required Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality and food safety requirementsEscalate quality or food safety findings or incidents to management Ensures that a high quality of products, services, housekeeping, and hygiene standards are maintained and improved in designated areasEnsures the compliance for FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 while driving continuous improvement for Quality metrics/Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in their area of responsibilitySupports Improvement initiatives (e.g. consumer complaints, product defect reduction) with the factoryAssist, advise and train Production Operators in attaining Nestlé quality standardsResponsible for reviewing and updating factory policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in compliance to Nestle standardsMay be the Document Control Coordinator for Quality, responsibilities includeSupports Compliance by ensuring effective use of the factory’s document control programMay be responsible for Net Contents Control system support & reportingSupports the functionality of the net contents control program on the factory floorPrepare lot summary reports for compliance to the Quality Monitoring Scheme (QMS)Supports production in decisions related to quality and food safetyAudits GMPs, procedures and paperwork on the production floorConducts coaching and training to employeesSupport Foreign Bodies/Material Reduction teamExecute daily review of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) documentationConducts special projects as assignedRequirements And Minimum Education Level:B.S.
