Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job details: Position: Medical Assistant – Primary Care SNSN SN Location: Chino Hills Shift: Days – 5x8s (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM / variable 8-hour shifts) Duration: 13 weeks Job Duties: • Room patients and obtain vital signs, height, weight, and medical history. • Assist providers in a family medicine/primary care outpatient clinic. • Administer injections and immunizations (IM and routine vaccines). • Perform basic lab work including urine dipstick/urinalysis and specimen collection. • Prepare exam rooms and support minor in-office procedures. • Handle patient scheduling, follow-up calls, and prescription refill requests. • Document patient information using electronic medical records (EMR). Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required • Medical Assistant certification required • AHA BLS certification required • Minimum 6 months to 1 year Medical Assistant experience required • Experience in outpatient clinic or physician office preferred • Basic computer and phone skills required • Strong communication and teamwork skills required • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred • Must live within 50 miles of facility • Black scrubs required; natural hair color only • No visible tattoos or facial/body piercings (strict dress code) • Must be able to perform both front and back office duties
